Spooky Chic Halloween at PB
I have to say that Pottery Barn has really stepped up their game over the past year… the feel of the store is a little more contemporary than it used to be – so there’s nice mix of modern & traditional styles. Case in point: check out the new Halloween 2008 collection… it’s fabulous! (You can actually purchase the gigantic spooky house wall mural above – it’s not just a photo backdrop!)
{pictured above and below} Add some glam to your haunted house with this dramatic black feather wreath and black feather garland set.
Also pictured below: white pumpkin candles, black skull candles displayed on black archer pilllar holders, black candelabra centerpiece. and spiderweb table runner.
This black and white candy buffet is a fantastic idea for Halloween…
PB’s gorgeous voluminous camilla canisters are used to display the candy above…{but you can also find apothecary jars in places like Home Goods, Target, and other discount stores for a fraction of the price!}
How fun are these skeleton appetizer plates and vampire teeth placecard holders…!
{pictured below} More “skull chic” finds: skull pillar candles, bone candle holders, glitter skull, and skull votives.

OK-I now want a pumpkin orange door! Its bad enough that my foyer is crayon orange- I have to stop! Fun Halloween stuff, will have to check it out.
love the giant haunted house mural – so cool!!
I’m thinking about the black accessories. I decorate in a chic black and white with silver accents for Christmas. The black feather wreath would be perfect, hung with a few silver ornaments on the bottom.
I know! My catalog arrived yesterday and I couldn’t believe the backdrop was available for purchase. How cool!
LOVE it, love it, love it!!! My favorite holiday!
This is fabulous! I love that Pottery Barn has all of these great Halloween decorations now. Halloween is one of my family’s favorite times of year. We go all out in our house!
Those skeleton plates and black skull candles are uber cute! I love halloween! Thanks for sharing :)
Pottery Barn this house is fabulous! It not spooky! I can show you a spooky house if you want. This is not it!
This is the best!! I love all the decor. Lost my mail key so I haven’t seen the pottery barn catalog. I will be back, love your blog!

As soon as my catalog arrived, I looked at all the Halloween goodies and said to myself “This is so gonna end up on HWTM.”
Jessica –
You know me too well! ;)
thank you thank you!!!
i live in military housing, so my walls are white. i love the idea of using non-traditional colors for decorating, esp. the white and black for halloween! very elegant, love it!!!
I love that orange door! Fabulous! And those white pumpkin candles are my new favorite thing.
Great front porch decor! Love the festivities!
Oh Pottery Barn! How you have my heart! I am not much of a ‘holiday decorator’ because most of the stuff is soo tacky. But PB has always been inspiring to me of ways I can dress up my house for holidays and actually have it look chic! Thanks for the post.
I like that punch bowl in the first picture. Where is that from?
Summer –
That’s actually from PB too – I saw it in the store a couple days ago, but didn’t see it online for some reason…super cool though! It’s actually 2 pieces – the base is sold separately from the bowl, so you could use the base as a stand for other things as well.
I absolutely adore this look! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I think it is so fun to decorate for. I love the “grown up” way things are decorated. So Fabulous!
I love these ideas!! I want my wedding Halloween themed and I need some ideas and inspirations!! I am a DIY bride on a budget!! Any information would be great!! Thanks a bunch!!

Thank you for posting, I’ve been inspired!
Well, I have been calling all the Potterybarns in my area and even as far as san diego, but cannot find the bone stand for punch bowl! this was such a popular item, it has already sold out throughout southern california. Does any one know who the brand maker is of this wonderful piece so I can try and get the stand for halloween? Tanks.
Thanks for the post :D I will link back to this site when I post black and white candies :)
Cheers,
Wynne
I am desperate to own one of these bone punch bowl stands – anyone have one they want to sell?
