Darling Woodland Bunny Baby Shower
Let’s head to Miss Party Mom Event Planning‘s neck of the woods for Kenna’s latest party: a Woodland Bunny Shower that’s just as darling as can be! Pretty elements like lace, flowers, and vintage serveware were mixed with bold pops of bright color and woodsy stationery details from World Wide Party by Elena. Of course the dessert table is truly spectacular, but make sure to check out the creative guest book bar and playful guest tables as well… they are hoppin’ with cute ideas too! ;)
PARTY DETAILS to look out for:
- Confetti paper placemats, succulent centerpieces and baby shower Bingo!
- Fondant flower-covered cake with mini “Baby Eden” bunting topper
- A playful “Guestbook Bar” + Wishes for Baby Eden cards
- Eclectic paper fan backdrop + scattered honeycomb balls for big pops of color
- Woodsy cake stands & risers + wooden forks embellished with scrapbook flowers
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Kenna…
When I was contacted by my client to help her throw a baby shower for her daughter, I was thrilled to hear of the theme they’d chosen… Bunnies! The momma-to-be is a volunteer at the Santa Barbara Bunny Rescue so it was the perfect theme- and the perfect timing… Just a couple of weeks before Easter! We nailed down the color scheme, choosing various shades of teal, turquoise and mint as well as corals and hints of gold. I was so pleased when everything started coming together graphics wise, I knew these colors were fresh and had spring written all over them!
As usual I looked to Elena of World Wide Party by Elena for my graphic design. My client fell in love with my daughter’s Woodland themed 3rd birthday party and so I had Elena just tweak those graphics by adding bunnies! It was so fun to see some of my fave printables re-inspired by a new woodland animal. I was truly in love when I saw the invites!
Along with a dessert table, I also put together a Guestbook Bar where guests could fill out pages from a customized Guestbook Store baby shower guestbook! This was a really fun activity for guests and a nice alternative to another baby shower game… I loved seeing how everyone filled out their pages- I wish I’d have had one at my baby shower!
Since backdrops draw so much attention, my first order of business when designing the dessert table was to make a really eye-catching backdrop. Once I spotted the bunny canvas at Target I started building around it by adding the wooden piece from Ten23 Designs. I trimmed it with a floral & leaf wreath and surrounded the entire piece with perfectly coordinating paper fans from My Paper Crush.
The party favors were bow-clad mini mason jars filled with color coordinating jelly beans & gum balls… I placed a clear sticker with the babies name Eden, on each jar. The guests loved the customization!
I couldn’t be happier with how this shower turned out- it was a truly special time celebrating the momma-to-be and her baby girl, coming this May!
