PARTY DETAILS, as told by Leanne

For Sienna’s 7th Birthday we had a joint party with her best friend Tess.  Sienna had always wanted a pool party but as her birthday falls in the middle of winter we postponed the party so we could enjoy the pool.  Sienna and Tess both love blue and pink so it was the basis for the colour scheme and we picked a retro style pink flamingo to use throughout the details of the party.  Tess’ mum Natasha designed and created all the stationery and signage for the day.

We had a number of different tables set up – the first being the cake and candy table which included the beautiful cake by Jacki from Blissfully Sweet Cakes.  This table also included an amazing cake ball tower and yummy marshmallows that were also made by Jacki as well a delicious selection of candy for everyone to chose from to take home.

We also had an ice-cream bar set up outside.  The cupcakes were made to resemble little ice-cream sundaes and they were a big hit along with the sherbet ice creams.  The third table was a drinks station which included delicious pink pink lemonade.

The kids were entertained with loads of activities and we kicked off the party with the fun photo booth.  After some swimming and the water balloon fight the girls enjoyed some pampering in a mini spa we set up for nail painting.

As a party favour all the girls were given a mini ice cream pail filled with cute ice-cream themed stationery and lip gloss.

What a beautiful party. Those party packs look co cute, while the drinks and ice cream bars look so pretty and well put together. And which child couldn’t love their own brand of birthday chocolate.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Sarah @ Goodheart Gifts.

Hi Elenor – One of the birthday girls’ moms actually created all of the signage and stationery! We weren’t provided with a company name or link, so I don’t thin she does it professionally. I agree that she should though – the designs are fantastic! :)
