PARTY DETAILS, as told by Crystal

Super Zane’s 5th Birthday Bash was held July 21st, 2012 at Sky High Sports in Costa Mesa, California. This venue is a Trampoline Park, but in keeping with the superhero vibe, we referred to it as our headquarters and training center.

We worked with The Paper Cupcake for all the customized decorating touches – including a “Save the Day” (or shall we say, Date) and the formal invitation.  I am a publicist who does a lot of writing each day, so I crafted the copy.

We made the city ourselves out of cardboard boxes, black paint and construction paper. After purchasing Ring Pops and Lime Rock Sugar, we re-packaged them in cellophane and ribbons while renaming them Ray Rings and Kryptonite. Our superhero themed cookies, that we entitled Crunch Cookies, were purchased on Etsy – as were our “Pow” Pops made of chocolate and featuring Batman, Spiderman and Superman logos at Autumn Lynns Sins.

Each child received a gift bag with superhero themed items from Party City, as well as Bash Buttons from Barefoot With Buttons on Etsy.  To make this an event the kids would remember, we purchased capes for them to keep and play with at home.  The capes were found on Amazon. The items that came in the bags from Amazon were removed and they were donated.
