PARTY DETAILS, as told by Amanda

“I’m part owner of The Kawaii Notebook (and online Japanese Kawaii stationary boutique) and I designed this party for my family as a thank you for the continual support and encouragement in all the things I do.

The design was a {Sweet as a Peach} thank you table. The setting was at my parents estate in their gardens (they arrived home the day of the party so were very surprised with it all) on an old stone table with hedging behind the table to act as the backdrop. The garden hedge was draped in fairy lights and tea light candles lit at dusk to add warmth to the table.

The table stationary and cake design were based on customized printables by Sarah at Style Me Gorgeous. The tones of the table were peach, ivory and silver.

Desserts that were served were petit pavlova’s with Chantilly cream, peach dusted white chocolate cookie pops, sweet peach candies, raspberry white chocolate ganache meringues, Lindt chocolate balls, vanilla bean cupcakes and white chocolate champagne truffles.

The cake was designed around the floral printable used in the dessert labels and made by Cake – a – lishious.

Butter cookies made to look like old fashion handstamped and wax sealed letters were made by Noo at Dessert Menu Please.

Bunches of various peach and cream roses highlighted the table and an old typewriter housed a ‘Thank you’ note.

Sauvignon Blanc was served in mini glass bottles.”
