“Vintage Flower” Valentine’s Day Sweets Table
I know we’re getting down to the wire here with Valentine’s Day coming up on Monday, but some of the submissions that have been rolling in lately are just way too cute to pass up! For example, this charming Vintage Valentine’s Day Dessert Table by the lovely Rebekah of A Blissful Nest. I love how she used pattern, symmetry, and an approachable mix of store-bought and homemade treats to create a beautiful & budget-friendly display!

“In design, symmetry is important, but I also wanted to add a touch of whimsy to this table. I loved the idea of a vintage flower theme and thought it sounded very romantic, so I took the large flower given to me for my daughter’s baby shower and attached it to the cupcake stand. This same flower was carried through out all the printable paper goods as well.
Coming from an interior design background, I like geometric patterns and brought these in, along with a tailored stripe. My favorite “crush color” (as I call it!) is the grey/pewter that is popping up everywhere right now! This grey, along with the signature pink and red for Valentines Day, gave the overall design a very soft vintage feel.
I have to say that this table did not cost very much, as I made the cupcakes, strawberry milk shakes, and purchased the donuts, raspberry kisses, and miniature cookies from Target. The macaroons were purchased from my local grocery store. You can still have something beautiful without spending a fortune!”

So adorable! I loved the paper straws but did some searching to find a slightly lower price – just thought I’d share, in case others are interested! Here they have 140 for $6.50…. But thanks you so much for these ideas!
