Don’t be late, don’t be late for this very important date! Rebecca of Melbourne Lolly Buffets & Events took us down a {very merry} rabbit hole with this fantastic, pink & red Mad Hatter Tea Party for her daughter’s 7th birthday. The charming, vintage style Alice in Wonderland printables and delicate teacup & teapot inspired desserts are the perfect ingredients for a lovely tea party!
PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:
- Charming dessert stands made from stacked teacup & saucers
- Oversize Queen of Hearts inspired “Playing Card” party invitations
- Framed Alice in Wonderland quotes & illustrations
- Beautiful teacup & playing card cake + darling teapot cake pops!
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Rebecca…
I styled this Alice in Wonderland themed Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for my daughter Eva’s 7th Birthday. The color palette was pink, red and white. The invitations were oversized “playing cards,” designed by Simone of Invite Me, that read “Come dressed for a party in Wonderland!” Of course a tea party wouldn’t be complete without desserts! We had a delicious assortment of sweet treats from Kiss Me Kate, Sweet Empire & Studio Cake, which included Ruffled Iced Cupcakes, Meringue Toadstools, Cake Pops, Cookies, Panna Cotta Teacups, Chocolate & Coconut Slice and YoYo’s!

What a lucky 7-year-old! This is gorgeous and it would be perfect for an adult birthday party or shower as well.
I was thinking just the same as Sharon in the comment above: this would be perfect for a bridal shower or birthday party as well:)
Hi there! I have a quick question… a friend of mine is planning her bridal shower and really wants to to a tea party theme. Do you have any recommendations as to where she can get nice (and affordable!) tea cups?
Thank you!
