Wine Glass DIY #3: Glittered Skeleton Keys

Quick Jump To » Comments

Skeleton Key Wine Charms

Last but not least in today’s 3-part DIY Wine Glass Decor feature, here’s another ode to the popular vintage skeleton key trend… this time with GLITTER! I know we have lots of fellow glitter fans out there! =)

These cute sparkly key “glass charms” took only a few minutes using a set of skeleton key chipboard embellishments, spray adhesive, and fine glitter. I also finished with a quick coat of clear gloss spray paint to help keep the glitter in place. Again, love the idea of doing these in black & orange for Halloween, or in multi color for housewarming parties and Wonderlandia or “Key to My Heart” themes.

Once your glittered keys are completely dry, attach a few glue dots to the back side of each key, press firmly to the glass, and you’re done!

As you can see below, the different shapes of the keys & different colors of the glitter enable these cute little embellishments to pull double duty as drink markers too!
