“Go Baby, Go!” Baby Shower {Part 1 – Food Table}

transportation baby shower food and dessert table with cars, airplanes, and trucks

Last month we debuted the first of 3 HWTM baby shower themes created for Huggies (a “Showered With Love” Girl Baby Shower theme) – but for those of you leaning more blue than pink for your celebration, I’m super excited to share our BOY theme with you today! ;)

GO, Baby Go! Baby Shower

From cars to trucks to airplanes and more, this transportation inspired baby shower is a celebration of mom’s “precious cargo.” I loved the idea of pairing toy “things that go” with thoughtful concepts like “GO make your mark on the world” & encouraging both mom and baby to “enjoy the ride” they’re about to embark on together!

Scroll down to check out the food & desserts table — which is filled with bright colors, fun backdrop ideas and healthy options like stoplight inspired Smoothie Shots! And stay tuned for Part 2 — which will cover the (easy!) truck shaped diaper cake, tablescape design & more creative ways to use all the transportation inspired printables.

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • Stoplight inspired Smoothie Shots & Sparkling Soda
  • Crepe paper backdrop with mini patterned paper airplanes & fuzzy yarn ball clouds
  • “Precious Cargo” airplane sandwiches “flying” on cloud-patterned paper
  • Airplane toy embellished with printable labels + truck carrying a load of yarn balls!

    Creative party. I just love red and blue together. The food looks fun to eat too. Kids would be lucky to have a party like this.

    Am I missing where your recipes are??? I would love to make the cloud parfaits!

    • Dayna Goldman March 5, 2014 at 9:01 am

      Hi Cassi, these parfaits were made with blue raspberry Jello and Cool Whip layered to look like clouds in a glass. Pretty simple!
