Trend Alert: Girly Football Party Dessert Table

Quick Jump To » Comments

Tonya Coleman here from Soireé Event Design, and I’m back with the “Trend Alert” where I share with you some of the hottest trends in party planning! Today’s guest post is all about the hot new trend GIRLY FOOTBALL PARTIES for all those football lovin’ ladies out there!

I am a HUGE football fan and more and more women are becoming fans too! This year for your Superbowl party, how about inviting your girlfriends over and watching the game with this girly football dessert table as your wow-factor, complete with glittery desserts and LOTS of bling!

Football props get a girly makeover!

The inspiration for this party was this fabulous football prop set from Hello My Sweet complete with football turf tablecloth, goal posts and cupcake bleacher stand that could be customized to my colors! I had the goal posts and bleacher stands painted silver and used this shimmery sequin table linen from Candy Crush Shop as a backdrop which pops off the green turf tablecloth. I designed a girly “Gametime Sweets” scoreboard printable (AVAILABLE HERE) to use along with a football I propped on top of a bling hurricane vase that I simply turned upside down. This TOUCHDOWN glitter letter banner from Made by a Princess went perfectly to pull the table together.

Dress up store bought cupcakes!

Store bought cupcakes get a glam makeover by wrapping them in these glitter cupcake wrappers from Dress My Cupcake and topping them with a mix of acrylic laser cut “Superbowl” and “Touchdown” cupcake toppers from Ten23 Designs and a simple shimmer pink gumball. Arrange them on the silver bleacher stands and incorporate them into the centerpiece of your table.

Offer Pink Candy & Sparkly Desserts

Sparkly pink desserts and candy are the perfect touch to add some sparkle to your sweets table. These glittered candy apples and cake pops are perfect alongside the chocolate football lollipops all made by Autumn Lynn’s Chocolate Sins. Adds the perfect girly touch don’t you think? Pink rock candy and m&m’s go great with this theme too. How about those bling candy scoops from Talia’s Creative Printing and bling sparkle sticks from Made by a Princess! Fabulous finishing touches.
