Camping Baby Shower – Lantern Centerpiece
This is one of my three centerpiece designs for a camping-themed baby shower event I did with Operation Shower. 🏕️🍼 Learn how to make it below!
BTW, you can also simplify this centerpiece by only using some of the elements. For example, just the lantern & themed sign + a few pinecones sprinkled would still be super cute! The DIY Mudcloth-Inspired Riser and extra embellishments are optional.

Camping Baby Shower Lantern Centerpiece

Materials:
- Red Lantern
- Printable Flames (+ Optional Back Side)
- Scissors
- 3D Adhesive Dots
- 1/4” Wood Balls
- Hot Glue Gun
- Twine
- Baker’s Twine
- Pacifier
Instructions:
- Print the paper flames on card stock and cut them out.
- Remove the glass portion of the lamp and set it aside.
- Place a 3D adhesive dot (or a little dab of hot glue) down at the base and use it to attach the flame.
- Slide the glass lantern piece over the paper flame and back into place.
- Embellish the lantern with wood balls or beads. Use the tiniest bits of hot glue to hold them in place, and take extra care not to burn your fingers!
- Wrap twine around the bottom of the lantern a few times, then tie it off and trim. Add a 2nd layer of baker’s twine for added detail.
- Hang a pacifier on the lantern, and it’s done!
Embellished Frame & Sign

Materials:
- 4×6 Sign from Little Camper Collection
- Adhesive Dots
- Wooden/Chalkboard Frame
- Felt Balls & Hot Glue (optional)
- Small Metal Container* (used as riser – optional)

Instructions:
- Use adhesive dots to attach the 4×6 sign to the center of the wood frame.
- Embellish the top of the frame with small felt balls in matching colors (optional). I used tiny dabs of hot glue to attach them.
