TOADSTOOL CHAIR CUSHIONS – A DIY TUTORIAL
***
Materials:
- Red & white fleece
- Batting
- Scissors
- Marker
- Sewing Machine (or needle & thread if you are hand sewing)
- Tacky Glue
Step by Step Instructions:
1. Draw a large circle on your red fleece (you’ll need two circles per cushion), making it the size you’d like your cushion. Draw a few smaller circles on your white fleece for the dots of the toadstool.
2. Cut out the red circles, leaving a 1/2-inch to 1-inch border for seam allowance. Cut the same circle size circle out of the batting (without the seam allowance). You can cut the little circles on your white fleece while you’re at it :)
3. Sew the red circles together inside out until you have about a 2-inch opening left. Turn the fabric “right side out” and insert the batting through the gap. Sew the opening up & glue the white dots on top!
