{Favorite Things Inspired} “Frankie” Theme Birthday Party
This idea is just so super duper cute! Karrie and Elizabeth of Posh Paperie threw a clever & creative “Frankie Theme” Party for Karrie’s son’s 2nd birthday. They designed a cute caricature “logo” of little Frankie (adorable blonde hair, blue eyes & precious smile) and paired it with his favorite things to create a party truly inspired by the birthday boy! (P.S. Check out Frankie’s Vintage Airplane First Birthday!)
PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:
- Mini OJ Pitchers, Lemonade & Milk Bottles tied with a glitter “F”
- “Let’s Be Frank. I’m Still Hungry.” Snacks To Go!
- Bean bag toss, home made piñata of Frankie’s face & temporary tattoos
- Brunch with cereal, yogurt and Frankie’s favorite: donuts!
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Elizabeth…
The theme was “frankie” – so basically – a “caricature” of his face was the “logo” for all pieces of the party. we made invitations that capitalized on this theme, Karrie hand made a pinata of frankie’s face – the cake was his face, we had custom tattoos made of his little “logo”, etc. etc! The color palette was peach, sky blue and marigold – to “match” frankie’s coloring – skin, hair and eyes.
We focused on frankie’s “favorite things” – and put those in the treat bags (big car, football and treats). :) we made custom bean bags and played a bean bag game (in buckets) – coloring sheets of frankie’s face, and had a tiny tattoo station so everyone could “be like frankie”.
The food was brunch themed – focusing mainly on donuts – frankie’s favorite food. Karrie also prepared a yogurt parfait with granola, peach cups and cereal for the kids.
Fun fact – BOTH of frankie’s great grandpas were named FRANK – so we featured this on a table…with a photo of each “frank” and a book titled “the frank show”.
It turned out adorably! :)
