Hey Girl! A Fruity & Modern Party Table
You’re cordially invited to pull up a chair – and put on some heart sunnies – at this fun and girlie party table! (It matches the Galentine’s Day Drink Station I shared earlier today.)
Anyways, it’s easier than you might think to bring this colorful look to life! Especially with the help of my Hey, Girl! printables. 😉 You can even edit the tent cards & big heart gift tags to display the names of your own favorite gals. 💕
*You Wild Majestic Unicorn*
Speaking of the tent cards – did you notice the funny little phrases below the names, like “you wild majestic unicorn” and “you poetic and noble land mermaid“?
These phrases are inspired by the Leslie Knope character from Parks and Rec – who’s widely credited with popularizing Galentine’s Day. You can also edit this text to say whatever you want, though! It’s editable. :)
4×6 signs are a versatile item that looks great worked into a centerpiece, drink station, or any party table. Here are a couple of the designs from this theme:
Place Settings
I knew from the get-go that I wanted big paper hearts to be the star of the place settings and designed these *hey girl* hearts in 4 colors: pink, red, white, and turquoise blue.
The big pops of different colors at each setting make the table look more eclectic and fun. 💖💛❤️💙
They also coordinate well with the straw flags used in the fruity cocktails & mocktails:
BTW – the “tablecloth” is actually a fabric shower curtain from Target!
This is one of my favorite tricks for instantly expanding my table linen options. Fabric shower curtains are usually very affordable + accessible. You’ll never look at the bathroom decor aisle the same. 😉
Shopping resources for the other elements:
- Pink Ombre Paper Plates – Michaels
- Sequin Heart Bracelets ($1 each) – Michaels
- Heart Shaped Sunnies – Amazon
- Gold Plastic Forks – Target (also available at Michaels & Amazon)
- Lip Napkins – Marshalls
Table Centerpiece
The centerpiece is made from plastic fruit that I painted to match the party colors. (I bought this fruit set and a medium-sized faux pineapple from Amazon. Some of the fruit was also used on the drink station.)
Most of the pieces were painted with craft paint, but I spray painted the pineapple gold. Party circles and confetti added some extra fun & flair. ✨
Side note: these big printable hearts look super cute as gift tags too!
You can glue them directly to the front of a bag, or tie them on “tag style” and write a message on the back.
Girlie Accent Decor
Gather some girlie decor to dress up the other areas of your party… and don’t forget to “borrow” from what you already own! I pulled a print from my office wall to help decorate the bottom of our bar cart. 😍
Playful Girl Gang balloons, marbled balloons, and tissue bunting fans rounded out the look.
That’s a wrap for this Galentine’s Day table!
