I was asked to style a gender neutral baby shower for a Momma-to-be, with the shower date planned for mid-February. Knowing that this is typically just about the WORST weather month of the year in frigid Chicago, we decided to brighten up with the mood with the fun and always cheerful “You Are My Sunshine” theme. It’s gender neutral, cheerful and modern. So fun. As for colors, well…there’s just something neat about yellow and gray together. It’s such a fun, cheerful, modern combination. That was our starting point. The guests were treated to a lovely catered lunch, lemonade , champagne with fresh berries and a table full of delicious sweet treats. It was a lovely, “SUNNY” celebration!”
