1. Pirate Letters

These paper mache letters are a great way to personalize the party too. In addition to pirate phrases, try decorating the name or initials of the guest of honor!

Start with plain paper mache letters (widely available at most craft stores and online). Then, paint them gold and add crafty pirate-inspired elements like seashells, twine, eye patches, and colorful glass beads for “treasure”.

2. “Caribbean Sea” Pirate Party Punch

This tasty party punch will have pint-sized pirates beggin’ for more! To make it, combine 1 gallon of Berry Blue Typhoon Hawaiian Punch, 2 liters of lemon-lime soda, and 32 oz white grape juice.

Serve in a drink dispenser embellished with pirate-y trims like nautical rope, chains, and giant craft jewels. Get the party punch label here.

3. Jolly Roger Jello Ships

Cute toppers are for more than just cupcakes! Little ones will love these fun & colorful jello pirate ship snacks. Click here for the tutorial.

4. Pirate Bananas

Proof that even “healthy” party treats can bring smiles. (P.S. This a fun “anytime” surprise for lunch boxes too!)

5. Pirate Party Sandwiches

Cookie Cutters make sandwiches (or “sandys”) fun too!

I added some crushed potato chips to the PB & Honey for a bit of that awesome salty/sweet combo AND so we could label them our “crunchy skulls”. Get the customizable pirate labels here.

6. Homemade Pirate Party Cake

I’m definitely no pro when it comes to cake decorating, but I’ve enjoyed challenging myself to find easy/doable ways to make homemade cakes still look awesome. Gotta say I LOVE how this pirate cake turned out! (See the full pic at the top of the post, and a close-up below.)

Wanna make it for your pirate party, too? Click here for the tutorial.
